Once again I am participating in exhibitions. Currently in two that I want to mention to you. If you know of any other art lovers, I invite you to spread the word and I thank you for doing so!
First, I have donated a painting titled Aim High to the COHS ArtAuction2025. It is listed as item #175 and you can bid on it or any of the auction items by clicking on this link:
This auction benefits the San Francisco Coalition on Homelessness and the proceeds help the homeless and their rights. The online auction is open from September 2 until September 11, on which date there is also an in-person brick and mortar event at SOMArts. More about this here: https://www.upcomingevents.com/san-francisco/events/somarts/art-auction-25-housing-heals-496085
Secondly, from September 3rd thru 30th, I am participating in the SFAI Alumni Show curated by Thomasina DeMaio at the historic Canessa Gallery which is located at 708 Montgomery Street at Washington, right across the road from the Transamerica Pyramid building in the San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. There are 21 San Francisco Art Institute Alumni showing their art in this exhibition. See more details in the announcement I have attached below together with photos of two of my very recent paintings, From The Center and Everything Grows which are on display in this show and offered for sale. I have also added links to more information on both of these paintings at FAA/Pixels, where you can purchase them printed-on-demand (POD) and customized on a number of products ranging from wall art to home decor and personal items: https://helena-tiainen.pixels.com/featured/from-the-center-helena-tiainen.html and https://helena-tiainen.pixels.com/featured/2-everything-grows-helena-tiainen.html
(Please note, the reason #2 appears in the title of Everything Grows is because I also have a drawing titled the same that is posted on FAA/Pixels and they need to be able to define one from the other for the purpose of orders. For me they are both Everything Grows, one a drawing and the other a painting, with only the name in common. I hope this does not confuse you!)
It is my sincere hope that you will be able to check out these events, either online or in person! As always, you can ask me questions and I thank you for your interest in my art!
