About Positive Influences

This makes me want to share about a recent experience I had. So, here I go. A few days ago I was not feeling very happy. As a matter of fact, I felt angry and frustrated most of that day. I have a hard time accepting many things going on in this world and the Russian war on Ukraine is one of these unbelievably difficult things. I cannot stand bullies and when mentally ill misguided bullies are in leadership and in influential positions, I see red. That day I was not able to shake off my sad and angry sentiments, until something totally unexpected happened. And I am glad it did happen. So this is what happened. That day In the evening Greg and I went to Trader Joe's to get some groceries. While in the store, a beautiful little Asian girl, who was clearly happy about having learned how to walk without falling down, gave me a big smile. Actually two big smiles. She was looking at everything at her eye level and below and exploring the items in the store in wonder and with great enthusiasm while her mother was keeping a loving eye on her. The beauty and innocence of this little girl moved me and suddenly my bad mood was gone as I remembered my own creative childlike wonder and enthusiasm. This wonder stayed with me for the rest of that evening and I woke up in good mood the following day. This encounter with the little girl was very healing to me. Emotionally healthy kids are truly a pleasure. And so are emotionally healthy adults with open minds and loving, caring hearts. My painting titled More Love, in The Divine Feminine Exhibition, has the following description attached to it at FAA/Pixels: "What this world needs more than anything is love in all of its great forms. We could use more compassion and caring and affinity and empathy and kindness and ability to envision ourselves standing in the shoes of another everywhere on this earth.
